We were sitting in Sacrament yesterday and Lincoln (who is two and a half years old) was being silly with me and put his cheek against mine and we were both laughing. As I inhaled I could smell his nursery snack of animal crackers and goldfish and I immediately realized that this was my favorite scent in all the world. Its the sweet smell of childhood and innocences that immediately brings a smile to my face. I thought about how quickly he has already started growing up and he won't smell this way forever. Even though I can't stop time I can influence the type of men my boys will become. It is my personal mission to "raise em right".
